Tang Tien
After more than 300 years with ups and downs in history, it seems that the Tang Tien village has been gradually forgotten. But the children here still love the craft village and consider it to be more valuable than any other luxuries. For that reason, they have made continuous efforts to preserve the village.
Tang Tien bamboo and rattan craft village, Tang Tien commune, Viet Yen (Bac Giang) is home to a famous traditional knitting craft for a long time. The village has a history of training this profession for more than 300 years, starting around the time of the Later Le Dynasty and now still growing stronger day by day.
For a long time, the peaceful village has been the destination of many traders and foreign tourists who have an interest and love for bamboo and rattan trees as well as products made from them. Because of that, products here are constantly reaching out to all over Asia, Europe, America and Africa. Famous for its long-standing tradition, beautiful products, and increasingly diverse designs, the handcrafts made by Tang Tien villagers have allowed bamboo and rattan to reach the hands of people who adore them.
